International Vehicle Delivery — UK Collection & Port Drop

If you are shipping a vehicle internationally, Towit handles the UK leg using our enclosed Brian James Race Transporter 7: we collect from anywhere in the UK and deliver directly to your chosen port terminal, with photographic condition reports at both ends. For European-only moves, see our European car delivery service.

We use the Brian James Race Transporter 7 for high-value and enclosed movements, and the T Transporter for open transport. Both trailers are suited to port drop-offs. We confirm collection, transit, and port handover with status updates throughout.

What We Cover

Towit covers the UK collection and port delivery leg. The international shipping leg is outside our scope.

How It Works

Towit manages the UK collection and port delivery. You arrange the international shipping leg independently.

Message us on WhatsApp with your vehicle, collection address, destination port, and preferred trailer type. We will confirm availability and quote the UK leg.

We collect the vehicle at the agreed time using the Race Transporter 7 or T Transporter. You receive a loading confirmation once the vehicle is on the trailer.

We deliver the vehicle to the port terminal and hand it over to your designated contact or freight forwarder. Delivery confirmation is sent once handover is complete.

Customs declarations, vessel booking, and overseas delivery are handled by you or your freight forwarder. Towit does not manage the international shipping leg.

How the UK leg of an international vehicle shipment works.

We handle the UK leg of an international movement: collecting the vehicle from anywhere in the UK and delivering it to the port terminal your shipping agent nominates, or collecting an import from the port and delivering it to your door. The sea or air freight leg itself sits with your shipping agent.

Any UK port terminal your freight forwarder or shipping line nominates, including Southampton, Felixstowe, London Gateway, and Liverpool. Tell us the terminal and the vessel cut-off when you book and we will schedule around it.

No, and we are upfront about that. The international shipping leg is handled by your shipping agent or freight forwarder. We make the UK leg seamless, and for road-only movements to the continent our UK to Europe car delivery service covers the whole journey.

Yes. High-value vehicles travel in the fully enclosed Race Transporter 7, arriving at the terminal clean and undamaged. Standard vehicles can travel on the open T Transporter. Both are suited to port drop-offs.

Yes, and for shipping they matter more than ever. We photograph the vehicle at collection and again at the port handover, giving you dated evidence of its condition before it entered the shipping chain. The same applies in reverse for imports.

Yes. Once your agent confirms the vehicle is released from the terminal, we collect it and deliver it to your home, dealership, or workshop anywhere in the UK, with a condition report at both ends.

The collection postcode, the port and terminal, the vehicle make and model, and the shipping deadline or release date. With those we can return a fixed quote and confirm scheduling around the vessel.

Yes. Port deliveries are deadline-driven, so we schedule the UK leg backwards from your cut-off with margin built in, and confirm collection, transit, and handover with status updates throughout.

Customs formalities and export paperwork are handled by your shipping agent or freight forwarder. We coordinate timings with them so the vehicle arrives at the terminal when the paperwork is ready for it.

Cars of all kinds, from standard vehicles to supercars and classics, plus motorbikes and light commercial vehicles. Non-runners can be winched, which is common for project imports and exports.
