The Right Setup for Specialist Work

Towit is a specialist vehicle transport operator covering the UK. We move supercars, classics, dealer stock, and auction purchases for private owners and the motor trade. The vehicles we handle are high value and require careful, professional handling.

You run your own rig — tow vehicle, trailer, insurance, and fuel — and we provide the jobs, the technology, and per-job rates that reflect those costs. You bring a full UK licence with B+E entitlement, a professional approach, and the commitment to represent Towit well at every collection and delivery.

  • Run your own equipment — ask about driver discounts on new Brian James trailers and Adelphi motor trade insurance
  • Specialist work with high-value vehicles across the UK
  • Technology that puts return jobs in front of you on every journey home

Fill Your Empty Legs

The empty leg is the costliest part of any transporter's week. You collect from a dealer in London, deliver to a buyer near Glasgow, and drive back 400 miles with nothing on the trailer. That is income lost, fuel burned, and hours you will never recover.

The Towit driver app is built specifically to solve this. When you have a confirmed delivery, the app scans available jobs along your return route in real time. If there is a match, you receive a notification with the job details and the pay. You decide whether to accept. No obligation. No penalty for declining. But the option is always in front of you.

Drivers in the Towit network regularly pick up two or three return loads per week they would have otherwise missed. Across a month, that difference is significant. Across a year, it fundamentally changes what you earn from the same driving hours.

This is not a benefit that gets switched on later. The system matches jobs to your location and your direction of travel from day one. Every offer you see is one that makes practical sense for your journey home, not a detour that costs you time and fuel to reach.

  • Return job matching based on your live location and route
  • Instant notifications when suitable return loads become available
  • Accept or decline — no obligation, no penalty
  • Only jobs that align with your direction of travel are shown

Automated Condition Reports

Before every collection, the Towit app walks you through a photographic condition report. You photograph the vehicle from all four corners, the interior, and any pre-existing marks. Every image is timestamped and geolocated automatically.

The same process runs at delivery. Both reports are stored against the job record on the Towit platform and sent to the client automatically. If a query arises after handover, the evidence is there — clear, dated, and tied to the exact location.

  • Photographic condition capture at collection and at delivery
  • Timestamped and geolocated automatically by the app
  • Sent to the client and stored on the Towit platform
  • Protects the driver as much as it protects the client

Yes. Drivers on the Towit network run their own equipment: tow vehicle, trailer, insurance, and fuel. The per-job rate you are paid factors these costs in. Ask us about driver discounts we can arrange on new Brian James trailers and on motor trade insurance through Adelphi Insurance.

A full UK driving licence with a B+E category is required. B+E covers the towing of trailers over 3,500kg. Check the front of your photocard or contact the DVLA if you are unsure whether your licence includes this entitlement.

Supercars, classic and collector cars, dealer stock, auction purchases, and standard private vehicles. All movements are UK-based. Some may involve port collections or deliveries to specialist workshops.

Jobs come through the Towit driver app. You see available movements in your area, review the details and pay, and accept or decline. There is no rota or fixed shift system.

At collection and at delivery, the app guides you through a photographic inspection of the vehicle. It takes around five minutes. The app handles the timestamping, geotagging, and sending to the client automatically. You do not need to manage or store the images yourself.

When you have a confirmed delivery booked, the app looks for available jobs that sit along your return route. If there is a match, you receive a notification with the job details and the pay. You choose whether to accept. The app only shows jobs that align with your direction of travel, so you are not being pushed towards detours.

Payment is issued within five working days of job completion. You do not need to chase invoices or wait on a monthly payment cycle.

You fuel your own vehicle. Job rates are set to factor in fuel alongside your equipment and insurance costs, so the price you accept for a movement already reflects them.

Yes. You accept jobs that suit your availability. There is no fixed rota. Drivers who want more consistent volume can indicate their availability in the app and we will work to match job flow accordingly.
