About Towit

Towit provides enclosed and open vehicle transport across the UK. We use Brian James trailers and work with private owners, dealers, and the motor trade.

Condition Reports on Every Movement

Every vehicle Towit collects or delivers is photographed twice — once at the point of collection, and once at the point of delivery. This happens automatically as part of the driver workflow on every single job, without exception.

The reports are not forms filled in by hand and emailed across later. They are generated by the Towit driver app, which guides the driver through a structured photographic walkround, attaches a timestamp and GPS location to each image, and sends the complete report to the client the moment it is submitted.

  • Photographic inspection at collection and at delivery on every job
  • Timestamped and geolocated automatically — not manually entered
  • Sent to you the moment the report is submitted
  • Stored permanently on the Towit platform against your job record

Four Steps, Every Job

The process is the same on every movement. There is no variation, no opt-out, and nothing for you to chase.

1

Pre-Collection Walkround

Before loading, the driver photographs the vehicle from all four corners, the interior, the roof, and any pre-existing marks or damage. Each image is captured inside the app.

2

Automatic Timestamping

The app records the date, time, and GPS coordinates at the moment each photo is taken. This data is embedded in the report automatically — the driver cannot alter it.

3

Delivery Inspection

At the delivery address, the same walkround is repeated. The driver photographs the vehicle again before handing over. Any change in condition between the two reports is immediately visible.

4

Sent and Stored

Both reports are sent to you automatically when submitted. They are also stored permanently on the Towit platform, accessible at any point if a query arises after handover.

No More Disputes After Handover

Disputes about vehicle condition after transport are one of the most common frustrations in the industry. A scratch that was already there before collection becomes a claim after delivery, and without documented evidence both sides are left arguing from memory.

The Towit reporting system removes that ambiguity entirely. The collection report establishes the condition of the vehicle at the moment it left the sender. The delivery report establishes the condition at the moment it arrived. The two reports can be compared side by side, with timestamps and GPS coordinates attached to every image.

If the vehicle arrived in the same condition it left — which it should — you have the evidence to confirm that instantly. If something did go wrong in transit, the report makes the point of origin clear immediately, which means any insurance or liability question can be resolved quickly and with the right information.

  • Collection report documents condition before the vehicle moves
  • Delivery report confirms condition at handover
  • Side-by-side comparison resolves any post-handover query immediately
  • Evidence is stored permanently — accessible weeks or months later if needed

Built for the Vehicles We Move

The vehicles in the Towit network are not ordinary cars. Supercars, classics, dealer stock, and auction purchases all carry significant value, and the clients entrusting them to us expect a professional standard of care from collection through to delivery.

The condition reporting system is part of that standard. It is not an optional extra or a feature that gets activated on high-value jobs only. Every job gets the same report, regardless of the vehicle. That consistency is what makes the system reliable and what gives clients the confidence to hand over keys without hesitation.

  • Standard process on every job — not just high-value movements
  • Clients receive their report without having to ask for it
  • Protects both parties — client and driver — equally

Yes. A condition report is generated at collection and at delivery on every single Towit movement. This is not optional — it is built into the driver workflow and applies to every job without exception.

The collection report is sent to you automatically as soon as the driver submits it — typically at the point of loading. The delivery report is sent the moment the driver completes the walkround at your address. You do not need to request them.

Photographs from all four corners of the vehicle, the interior, the roof, and any noted pre-existing marks. Each image carries an automatic timestamp and GPS location. The report is linked to your job record and includes the driver details and movement reference.

Yes. Reports are stored permanently on the Towit platform against the job record. If a query arises weeks or months after delivery, the reports are still accessible. Contact Towit with your job reference and we can retrieve them for you.

If the delivery report shows a difference from the collection report, contact Towit immediately with your job reference. The reports provide clear evidence of the vehicle's condition at both points in the movement, which allows any insurance or liability matter to be addressed quickly with accurate information.

No. Once submitted, reports are locked on the Towit platform. The timestamp and GPS data are attached automatically by the app at the moment each photo is taken and cannot be altered. The integrity of the report is maintained from submission onwards.

No. Photographic condition reporting is included in every quote as standard. It is part of how Towit runs every movement, not an optional add-on, so the price you are quoted already covers it.

Yes. Whether your vehicle travels on the open T Transporter or inside the enclosed Race Transporter 7, the same photographic report is completed at collection and delivery. The trailer type changes the protection in transit, not the documentation.

The report goes to the booking customer automatically, and for dealer and trade movements it can be shared with both the releasing and receiving sites. That gives everyone in the chain the same documented record of the vehicle at each handover.

Because handover disputes cost dealers time, money, and goodwill. If a customer queries a mark after delivery, or stock moves between sites, the timestamped photographic record shows exactly when any damage did or did not exist — which usually settles the question in minutes.
