Our Story
We built the transport
company we wished existed.
Tow It started because the UK vehicle transport industry was (and largely still is) stuck in 2003. Phone calls, fax machines, bidding sites with hidden fees, and no tech at all. We decided to fix it.
The Problem
Vehicle transport was broken.
Our founding team had worked in and around the automotive industry for years. We'd seen the same problems repeat themselves endlessly. A dealer selling a car to a customer 200 miles away would have to phone three or four drivers, wait for call-backs, deal with no-shows, and eventually wonder whether they were getting a good price at all.
Other bidding platforms tried to fix this by creating a marketplace, but they introduced their own set of problems: hours of waiting for bids, unknown drivers with no proper vetting, and a race-to-the-bottom on price that was bad for drivers and often meant lower quality service for customers.
The underlying issue was that no one had applied modern technology — specifically AI — to the specific problem of matching vehicles with drivers efficiently. We decided that was the business to build.

Mission
To make UK vehicle transport as simple as sending a text message. We believe that technology — specifically AI — should eliminate friction from logistics, not add to it. Every decision we make is tested against this: does it make moving vehicles simpler, faster, and more reliable?
Fair to everyone
We believe good marketplaces work when all parties benefit. Customers get fair, transparent pricing. Transport companies get consistent, well-priced work and guaranteed payment. We make our margin from the difference — not from extracting hidden fees from either side.
Radical transparency
We publish our pricing model, explain exactly how our AI works, and tell you what we check when vetting drivers. If a price changes, we explain why. If there's a problem, we communicate it proactively. We hold ourselves to the standard we'd expect from any service we use ourselves.
Speed as a feature
We obsess over response times. Every second of unnecessary waiting in a booking process is a failure. Our AI is designed to give accurate quotes in under 2 minutes — and we're constantly working to make that faster and more precise.
Quality control
We don't just connect customers with drivers — we're responsible for the outcome. Every driver is vetted. Every job is tracked. Every delivery is documented. If something goes wrong, we fix it. We're the broker, and that means accountability.
Building for the long term
We're not trying to pump up metrics for a quick exit. We're building a genuinely useful service that lasts. That means reinvesting in the driver network, the technology, and the customer experience — rather than cutting costs in ways that compromise quality.

European Expansion
Many UK dealers import and export vehicles across Europe. We're building cross-border capability to handle movements between the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, and beyond — same AI-powered simplicity, extended network.
Prestige Vehicle Division
A dedicated service tier for supercar dealers, classic car specialists, and high-net-worth private customers requiring enclosed transport, white-glove handling, and specialist cover. Under development for launch later this year.
Fleet Analytics Dashboard
A reporting dashboard for dealer groups and fleet operators to track transport spend, on-time performance, vehicle movement history, and route efficiency. Making the data you've always wanted actually visible.
